Statement jewellery ~ how it makes you feel.

My collection of statement jewellery is all about how it makes you feel. If you are given a piece as a gift - you will feel loved, celebrated, adored. If you buy a piece for yourself I hope you will feel the spirit of Norma when you wear it. Norma sits, confidently on top of the world, scanning a wide horizon, ready for the next adventure in life. Like a lucky charm, or a talisman I hope my work can evoke a sense of confidence. My necklaces are often hand engraved - personalised for the wearer, sometimes with the name of a loved one, keeping them close to your heart. This too makes a statement, a statement of love.

My style statements are inspired by a feeling - I first came across the classic Tattoo design of a woman sitting on a beach ball in a reference book I used as a designer - she really captured my imagination. I changed her a little, gave her something to wear! But there was something about an era of glamour, a place - I imagine somewhere in the USA where you can ride out across an open landscape and a style. A western style, a tattoo style, a rock and roll style that, to me, all make a very special statement.
