Flaming Lady of Hay Award

The Flaming Lady Art House is many things, a gallery full of wonders, the seat of the King of Hay, a community of rebels and misfits, home to Kingdom Projects.

Celebrating remarkable women of the town over the centuries and discovering new ones living and working in Hay today.

I am lucky enough to be one of the artists exhibiting at The Flaming Lady Art House, so couldn’t resist creating the very first Flaming Lady Award - presented at the Rebels and Misfits party by HRH the King of Hay to Kate Brotherton-Ratcliffe.

The necklace is beautifully hand engraved with FLOH by engraver Mark Phelps, and I hope, will be worn with pride for many, many years to come by Kate, a deserving winner and the inaugural, Flaming Lady of Hay.
